Get a life
- Initial
Consultation (can be done in person or on the phone) - 1-hour session. We
discuss overall concepts and ideas for your wedding and reception, as well
as specifics such as venues, ceremony music, reception music, food
service, bar, wedding weekend activities, etc.
- Budget
Consultation (can be done in person or on the phone) - 2 hour session. We
go into detail regarding every aspect of the wedding, determining your
taste, style and priorities. You receive a comprehensive budget
spreadsheet, with our estimates of the cost of your dream wedding. We work
with you to make adjustments, as needed.
- Binder
preparation - We prepare a customized binder with a detailed weekly
planning calendar based on your wedding date. This binder is designed to
be used alone or in conjunction with a binder you have already
purchased/received or created yourself. It contains areas for vendor
contracts, business cards, and samples, as well as "tip sheets"
with advice on various aspects of wedding planning.
- Venue
recommendations - On the basis of our initial and budget consultations, we
will advise you of the venues for your ceremony and reception which we
feel are the best match for you and your fiancé. We take into
consideration personal style, budget parameters, number of guests, and
your wedding priorities.
- Vendor
recommendations - On the basis of our initial and budget consultations, we
will refer you to vendors who best match your style and budget. Unlike a
list of preferred vendors you may receive from a venue, this list has been
customized to you. Also, we do not charge vendors to be on our list, nor
do we accept referral fees. You can be confident that the vendors we are
referring will be able to work in your budget, and will reflect your
priorities.
- Day-Of
Wedding Coordination: includes two consultations (timeline consultation
and wrap-up consultation - total 3 hours), creation of a production
schedule for all vendors and separate timeline for wedding party,
confirmations with all vendors (acting as central point of contact),
direct or assist your officiant and/or church coordinator with rehearsal,
supervise wedding ceremony & reception set-up, coordinate wedding
ceremony, coordinate wedding reception events. Includes coordinator and
one assistant (for weddings more than 150 people, or with significant
decor installation, additional assistants may be required).
- Event
design - 6 hours of consultation time, generally divided into a 2 hour
design consultation, a 2 hour floral consultation, and 2 hour linen
consultation. On the basis of these consultations, we will assist you in
developing an overall "look"
and style for your wedding, with ideas on how to incorporate it
into all the wedding elements, including invitations, décor, linens, food
and beverages, and favors.
- Invitation
Consultation - can be done at Clink office or at stationer - 2 hours. - We help you choose or design an
invitation to match your event, including paper, ink, copy, typestyles. If
the invitation is ordered through clink, you receive a 10-20% discount off
retail, depending on the stationer.
- Site
availability - our staff will contact all recommended locations to find
out their availability for your particular wedding date. In most cases,
the facilities will allow us to reserve your date in our name, until you
are available to meet with them.
Once we have confirmed your date with each location, we will notify
you, and provide you with the facility name, contact, address, phone
number, as well as information on their facility and services.
- Vendor
availability - our staff will contact all recommended vendors to find out
their availability for your particular wedding date. In many cases, our
vendors will allow us to reserve your date in our name, until you are
available to meet with them. Once we
have confirmed your date with each vendor, we will notify you, and provide
you with their company name, contact, address, phone number, as well as
information on their company and services.
- Arrange
appointments - Once we have determined the availability of the recommended
venues and/or vendors, our staff will contact them to set up an
appointment with you during your available dates and times. If we have
been contracted to accompany you to these appointments, please remember
that we are closed Saturday through Monday, unless prior arrangements have
been made.
- Planning
consultations - on-site at venue and/or caterer, three 2-hour sessions.
Our consultants will happily arrange the appointments with the facility or
caterer (preferably Tuesday - Thursday). These on-site visits are
typically used to design menu (menu tasting) and to plan layout. More
consultations (with other vendors) are available at $100/hour.
- Assistance
with arranging out-of-town guest accommodations - We will contact hotels
to determine availability and prices available for your wedding guests. We
will request & review agreements before having you sign them. Room blocks are generally lifted 3 weeks
prior to the wedding. We will contact the hotel to receive a printout of
confirmed reservations. As repeat customers, our relationships with hotels
often get our clients VIP treatment.
- Assemble
and deliver welcome gifts - We will suggest ideas for welcome gifts for
your out-of-town guests. We will shop for the contents (the total will be
added to your final bill) and assemble the bags. We will deliver the gifts
to the main hotels where guests are staying. Some hotels charge a nominal
per/bag fee to hold the bags at reception, or deliver them to the guest
rooms.
- Arrange
guest transportation - Should you desire group transportation for your
wedding party or guests, we will discuss options and their costs. We will confirm times and
pick-up/drop-off locations with you and the contracted company. We highly
recommend having a transportation coordinator on-site (either contracted
with the transportation company, or clink)
