This wedding was a real "event" - starting with a baseball game
on Thursday and ending with a family picnic on Sunday afternoon.
The theme was 'family' - we incorporated the couple's cultural heritages
(American, Canadian, Carpatho-Rusyn, Croatian, and Irish) into all
the weekend's events.

The rehearsal dinner reflected both families, with Croatian food and
decor, and Irish whiskey! (above) We adapted the old Croatian and
Carpatho-Rusyn custom of the groom's parade through the village by having the groom
and family walk down the block in the bride's neighborhood to her family's home, where
our groom successfully negotiated to see her (with the help of some Croatian song
and plum brandy)! (right)
The colors of the American, Canadian and Croatian flags were carried through
the simple and elegant table decorations and the "Perfect Blend" wine
labels (the bride and groom had helped the bride's father make the wine served
at the wedding). (left)
