Tanya began her event planning career in the Washington, DC diplomatic circuit, coordinating Embassy receptions and special events for four years. One of only six Certified Special Event Professionals (CSEP) in the Austin area, she is a graduate of Georgetown and Johns Hopkins Universities, speaks 5 languages, and has lived in 7 countries. Her international background and extensive travel are a key inspiration when she designs events, and her diplomatic background is what keeps her cool and calm throughout the process.
Gina Whittington Gina’s from a small town in South Texas, but says she moved to Austin as fast as she could. She loves modern design and architecture, but appreciates the classics. With a business degree in marketing, she worked in the high-end design industry for over five years. Her events for Edgar Kelly Rugs and Estilo benefiting Shoes for Austin and Ballet BARRE have topped the December social calendar.
Bridget Kennedy, CPCE After 13 years in Austin, our Houstonian Bridget can consider herself an Austinite. Bridget is clink’s “foodie”, with more than 12 years experience in the catering industry, including serving as Catering Manager at the Renaissance Austin and as Director of Catering & Special Events at the famous Austin Country Club. At ACC for six years, Bridget planned small events of 50 guests to weddings of over 1,000! Former President of the Austin Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives, Bridget is one of only 3 Certified Professional Catering Executives (CPCE) in the Austin area. Now Bridget is enjoying bringing her experience and talent in high-class design to weddings and events all over Austin.
Callie Potts Callie is an Austin native, which has given her a vast knowledge of what the city has to offer! She received her degree from University of Texas right here in Austin in the college of Natural Science with a major in Textiles and Apparel and minor in business. From a very young age she worked with corporate clients doing promotional events with companies such as Cadillac, Toyota, Sports Illustrated and others. Desiring a more personal connection with her clients, she choose to make a career out of her passion for weddings. Callie has an eye for the details and is there to make her clients' dreams come to life. Integrating design and business backgrounds has proven to be valuable in producing beautiful weddings and events for those loving Austin as much as she does!
Jamie Carpenter With a degree in English and Studio Art, Jamie has more than 10 years of award-winning event planning experience. Her event portfolio is vast—having produced a city-wide outdoor festival for the Austin Fine Arts Alliance, non-profit fundraisers and posh corporate affairs, among others. Known for her creativity, marketing and interpersonal skills, she has a proven track record of event magic and success.
Laura Wilson Laura is our Native Austinite and Spanish speaker. She graduated from Georgetown University with degrees in Economics and Spanish, studied in Chile and worked in Spain for a home furnishing company. After Spain, she quickly got back home to Austin. Her international experience brings European style to her Austin charm.
Amber Walter Originally from San Marcos, Amber earned a degree in Musical Theater from the University of Arizona, and performed in New York and Los Angeles before moving back to Texas to become Artistic Director of Austin’s Silverstar Theatre. With her balance of logistical know-how and theatrical creativity, producing special events comes naturally.
